Month On, Police Renew Hunt for Mystery Figures at Furzton Lake

A month ago, police released three images seeking help to identify a female dog walker linked to an investigation. She has now come forward, giving officers fresh hope.

Two Other Mystery Figures Still Unidentified

Thames Valley Police are re-issuing the other two images from that day, snapped near Furzton Lake, Milton Keynes, on the morning of 15 February 2019. The photos show several members of the public, including a zoomed-in shot of a person dressed in black.

Despite the poor quality of the images, police have yet to identify these individuals. They urge anyone who was in the area the day after Valentine’s Day to take a good look and consider if they recognise anyone.

‘Dog Walker’s Coming Forward Sparks Optimism’

“The very fact that the dog walker has come forward has given us great cause for optimism,” Thames Valley Police said.

Officers remain determined to get answers for Leah’s family, who have endured more than three years of heartbreak.

How to Help

  • If you recognise any figures in the images or believe one could be you, contact Thames Valley Police immediately.
