Dawn Raid! Three Masked Men Snatch £1,000 from Southampton Shop

Police are hunting for witnesses after a brazen robbery at the Onestop store on Peartree Avenue, Southampton. At 6am on Monday, February 29, three men in dark clothes stormed the shop, threatening staff and making off with £1,000 in cash.

One of the raiders was spotted carrying a crowbar. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the ordeal.

If you were in the area early Monday morning, police want to hear from you. “We are appealing to anyone on Peartree Road around 6am who saw anything or anyone suspicious to come forward,” said Detective Constable Jonathan Matthews from the Western Investigations Team.

“We know it was still dark at this time, but perhaps you were on your way to work or the shop and noticed these men.”
