Shock as Child Spots Man Masturbating on School Route
A little girl was left terrified after spotting a man masturbating on a busy footpath during her walk home from school in Ryde.
The incident happened around 3:55pm on Tuesday along Rosemary Lane, a well-used route linking Ashey Road to the railway line. The girl was on her way home from Ryde Academy when she stumbled across the offending male.
Police Rush to Scene but Pervert Flees
Frightened, the girl ran straight to her parents, who notified Hampshire Constabulary. Officers were quickly dispatched but the suspect had already disappeared.
Parents Warned to Be Vigilant on School Routes
Rosemary Lane is a popular path for school kids travelling to and from Ryde Academy and Haylands Primary School. Police urge anyone with information or who saw suspicious behaviour to call 101, quoting incident number 18050800613.
