Shocking Tractor Attack on Hunt Saboteurs in East Sussex
Violence flared during a hunt sabbing mission yesterday as supporters of the East Sussex & Romney Marsh hunt launched a tractor assault on the South Coast Hunt Sabs.
Tractor Rams Saboteurs’ Vehicle Repeatedly
After blocking the saboteurs for 20 minutes, hunt backers repeatedly rammed a tractor into their vehicle, causing serious damage. The saboteurs desperately called the police while the furious tractor driver kept crashing into their car.
Saboteurs Escape Serious Injury
Miraculously, the pair escaped unscathed despite the violent ordeal. Their vehicle, however, was left badly battered after the dangerous attack.
Saboteurs’ Vehicle Unroadworthy, No MOT
The vehicle involved failed to hold a valid MOT. It had previously failed on seven serious issues — including brakes — meaning it should never have been on the road in the first place.
