Rat Poison Scare Hits Beachy Head: Dog Owners Warned

Dog walkers around Beachy Head are on high alert after rat poison pellets were found in a roadside car park. The dangerous bait was first spotted on Monday morning, with 123 First teams rushing in to clear the area at first light.

Shockingly, a second batch of pellets turned up later that same day, sparking another urgent clean-up by council officers. Nearby car parks were searched but came up clean – for now.

Council Steps Up Patrols, Warning Issued

Authorities have been informed and are stepping up regular inspections in the Beachy Head car parks. Dog owners are urged to stay vigilant and keep their pets close to avoid any contact with the poison.
