Shane Loughlin, one of the survivors of the devastating Cardiff car crash, has broken his silence. Writing from his hospital bed, Shane shared his first update since the tragedy.
Shane’s Heartfelt Message
On Facebook, Shane wrote: “Only just found out what happened. Just want to say sorry to everyone and thank you to everyone who helped with the search party. Thanks to everyone wishing me well. I’ll be back soon. Love you all.”
Remembering the Lost
He also paid tribute to the victims, including little Rafel, just 1 year old, and Darcy. Shane said: “Can’t believe it. Gutted is an understatement. My heart goes out to all families and friends of the people that have passed.”
Long Road to Recovery Ahead
Shane acknowledged the immense challenge ahead: “Long way to recover mentally and physically, but we’ll get there.”
