Timothy Hatcher, 69, vanished without a trace on Sunday, December 18. He was reported missing two days later. The last confirmed sighting was at the Co-op on Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, around 2:40pm on that day.

Specialist officers have zeroed in on Meadgate Avenue and Hylands Park, conducting thorough searches all day and planning to continue into the evening. Timothy was last seen sporting a black beanie, a bright yellow hi-vis coat, and carrying a black shoulder bag.
Possible Lead: Man Seen With Timothy Buying Trainers
Police are also keen to speak to a man believed to be a friend or acquaintance of Timothy’s. CCTV shows them buying trainers together at JD Sports in High Chelmer on December 3. Officers hope this man can provide vital clues.
