Traffic Chaos: Follow These Diversions Now
Drivers urged to follow hollow triangle diversion signs to avoid delays:
- Leave the A1 at Junction 38 and turn left onto the A638
- Drive on the A638 towards North Elmsall
- At Dale Lane Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Wrangbrook Lane
- Continue on Wrangbrook Lane and rejoin the A1 at Junction 39 (Barnsdale Bar)
Expect heavy congestion: Around 2 miles of traffic queued up approaching Junction 38.
