A21 SHUT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS AFTER SERIOUS CAR AND MOTORCYCLE CRASH
East Sussex Road Closed Amid Chaos
The A21 in East Sussex is completely closed in both directions following a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle. The closure stretches from the B2089 near Vinehall Street to the A28 near Baldslow.
Official Diversion Routes in Place
Drivers heading southbound (towards the coast) must follow the hollow black circle diversion signs. Exit the A21 onto B2089 Park Lane, head east to Cripps Corner, then continue on the B2089 to the A28 junction at Broad Oak. Turn west onto the A28 towards Hastings before rejoining the A21 at Ebdens Hill.
Northbound (London-bound) traffic should follow the hollow black square diversion signs, using the same route in reverse.
