Three in custody after aggravated burglary in Ramsgate

Three men are in custody following an aggravated burglary at a house in Ramsgate. Kent Police was called at 11.20pm on Sunday 28 July 2019 to a report that a man was threatened at his home in the Newington Road area and forced to hand over a set of keys. Officers investigated the incident and at 6am the following morning they attended the East Pier and arrested three men on suspicion of burglary following a short pursuit on foot. The men, aged 19, 24 and 28, are all from the Ramsgate area and remain in custody while enquiries continue. Anyone with information is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 28-1962.
