Schiller, 60, was famed for his versatility across TV, theatre, and film. He portrayed the wealthy ealdorman Aethelhelm in Netflix’s hit series The Last Kingdom and played steward Cornelius Penge in ITV’s royal drama Victoria.
His credits also include fan-favourites like the BBC’s Caribbean detective thriller Death in Paradise, BBC’s historical drama The Musketeers, and Channel 4’s The Devil’s Whore.
