Trio Rob Game Shop in Southampton
Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of a robbery at GAME store on Above Bar Street at 11.04pm on Monday, May 9. It is believed three men entered the store via the rear entrance on Scullards Lane. Once inside they assaulted two members of staff before making off with the contents of the safe and various games consoles. It is believed the men arrived and left in either a 56 plate silver Ford Mondeo or Skoda Octavia, or similar type car. The men are described as white, wearing dark clothing with hoods up and scarves covering their faces. Staff were inside the premises preparing for the midnight launch of new a game. Detective Constable Claire Ratcliffe said: “This incident has undoubtedly left the store staff shaken and I would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident to come forward and contact us. “Were you in the Above Bar or Scullards Lane area around this time on Monday night?
