Sheep Stuck in Muddy Bog Rescued by Firefighters

Twelve sheep found trapped in a knee-deep muddy bog on Cold Harbour Lane, Lee, in Test Valley were heroically saved by emergency services. The crew from Redbridge fire station rushed to the scene just before midday on July 25 after getting reports of the stranded animals.

On arrival, firefighters saw some sheep barely keeping their heads above the muddy water. Realising the gravity of the situation, they quickly called in a specialist animal rescue team from Winchester to assist.

Swift Rescue Operation Saves All Sheep

The expert rescue team worked rapidly and managed to free all twelve sheep from the treacherous mud. After the daring extraction, the animals were taken to a nearby barn where they are now recovering safely.
