Two men arrested for murder after woman’s body found in Portsmouth

Police have launched a major murder investigation after a woman’s body was discovered at a house in Portsmouth. Two men, both 32, are now in custody as detectives hunt for clues.

Samantha Murphy, 32, was found dead at a home on Wadham Road just after 7:30am on Wednesday, June 5. Hampshire Police quickly arrested a 32-year-old man from Petersfield and another 32-year-old from Havant on suspicion of murder.

Both suspects remain in custody while officers work to uncover the full story behind Samantha’s death. Her family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.
