Two Men Killed as Car Crashes Into Bridge Pillar on A50 Near Toyota Island

Emergency crews rushed to the eastbound A50 at 10.15am after a car crashed into a bridge pillar.

The two men inside lost control, veered off the road, and smashed into the pillar. No other cars were involved.

Families have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

The A50 was shut for most of the day but has now reopened fully.
