Chaos on A259: Road Shut After Two-Car Smash in Dymchurch
The A259 in Dymchurch came to a standstill Sunday afternoon after a nasty two-vehicle crash. One car smashed into a wall and flipped over, while a second vehicle suffered front-end damage.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene Near Holiday Park
Police swiftly closed the road in both directions following the serious collision. Multiple officers and responders from Kent Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene, joined by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The crash happened close to the popular New Beach Holiday Park, causing major disruption in the area.
Bus Services Hit Hard by Traffic Chaos
Stagecoach warned passengers that some of their 102 bus services are stuck in long tailbacks near New Beach. A company statement on social media said: “Some of our 102 services are now stopped in tailbacks due to a traffic collision by the New Beach vacation camp in Dymchurch.”
Commuters are urged to seek alternative routes as emergency services continue to manage the scene.
