Woman Falls from Multi-Storey Car Park, Hits Pedestrian at Wood Green Bus Stop
Emergency crews rushed to High Road in Wood Green after a shocking incident at The Mall’s multi-storey car park. A woman plunged from the top level and landed on a female pedestrian waiting at a nearby bus stop.
Two Women Seriously Injured, London Air Ambulance on Scene
Police quickly cordoned off the area as paramedics battled to save both women. The London Air Ambulance and the LAS’s specialist HART team were scrambled to the scene to provide urgent care.
Meanwhile, security staff at the shopping centre erected privacy screens around the triage area to shield onlookers from the distressing scene.
Both Victims in Critical Condition, Roads Remain Closed
The incident was reported at 4:50pm on Wednesday 12 April. Both women were rushed to hospital and remain in critical condition.
Officers are actively investigating the circumstances of the fall and are working to contact the victims’ next of kin. High Road remains closed while enquiries continue.
