Joe Perry and Steven Tyler Speak Out
Guitarist Joe Perry, 72, told the Associated Press, “I think it’s about time… It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out here. You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this.”
Steven Tyler, 75, who recently returned from rehab, added, “We’re opening up Pandora’s Box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out tour. Be there or beware as we bring all the toys out of the attic. Get ready.”
Rock Royalty’s Wild Ride
Formed in Boston in 1970, Aerosmith has sold over 150 million records and scooped four Grammys. Known as much for their raucous lifestyles as their legendary riffs, the band earned Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2001 — the same year they rocked the Super Bowl halftime show.
