A 47-year-old man from Ruislip has died after crashing his red Triumph motorcycle into a lorry trailer on the A4 Colnbrook Bypass, also known locally as Lakeside Road.
Fatal Collision Near Lakeside Road
Emergency services raced to the scene just before midday on Sunday, 31 August, after reports of the crash.
Despite desperate efforts by paramedics, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Thames Valley Police confirmed no arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
“Firstly, I want to offer my deepest condolences to the family of the man who sadly died in this collision,” said PC Mark Dunne of the Roads Policing Unit.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to please check their dash-cam footage, in case they captured the collision or the moments leading up to it.”

Traffic Chaos and Road Closures
The A4 Colnbrook Bypass was shut for several hours while collision investigators worked at the scene.
Delays were reported in and around Lakeside Road and nearby routes as traffic struggled to get through.
