Tragic Blaze Claims Woman’s Life in Pinner Flat Fire

A woman has died after a fierce fire tore through her flat in Mercer Place, Pinner. Firefighters rescued her and two trapped men late Saturday night, but sadly the woman later succumbed to her injuries.

Heroic Rescue Amid Devastating Fire

Twenty-one firefighters rushed to the scene to tackle the blazing flat. Wearing breathing apparatus, they pulled the woman from the flames and helped two men trapped in the block’s internal staircase.

Firefighters Battle Blaze Through the Night

  • Four fire engines from Harrow, Hillingdon, and Northolt stations responded.
  • The brigade received the call at 9:50pm and gained control by 11:46pm.
  • Half the flat suffered significant damage in the blaze.
