A woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a bus outside Bond Street Station on Saturday evening.
Serious Crash Shuts Down Oxford Street
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at 6:44pm on 31 May 2025. The pedestrian was found badly injured and swiftly treated by London Ambulance Service paramedics. She was then rushed to a major trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Police sealed off the area, cordoning off three buses and clearing debris scattered across Oxford Street. The busy shopping street remained closed for hours. An air ambulance also touched down in a nearby park to support the operation.
