Top Cop Warns Protesters: ‘We Won’t Tolerate Hate Speech’
Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine said: “We have been clear that while the right to protest lawfully must be respected, that doesn’t extend to actions or statements crossing the line into criminality.”
“Most protesters behave lawfully, but some bring signs or chant slogans designed to cause alarm or distress, especially within our Jewish communities.”
