New quarantine rules kick in Saturday
From the early hours of Saturday, anyone arriving in England from Turkey and Poland must self-isolate for 14 days. The same applies to travellers from Bonaire, St Eustatius, and Saba.
Fines hiked for rule-breakers
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps warned the government is cracking down hard. Repeat offenders face a maximum fine of £10,000 for flouting quarantine rules.
