Sunak Vows More UK Muscle for Ukraine as Vladimir’s Forces Stumble
With Ukraine pushing Russian troops back relentlessly, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has promised to ramp up military aid. Russia’s morale is plummeting amid a string of Ukrainian victories, and Britain wants to keep that momentum going.
Challenger 2 Tanks and Heavy Artillery Incoming
A Downing Street spokesperson revealed the PM’s plan to boost Ukrainian firepower with state-of-the-art Challenger 2 tanks and extra artillery systems. This move comes as Poland has also pledged Leopard tanks to back Kyiv’s fight.
Sunak said the UK government will “tirelessly work with international partners” to provide the support Ukraine needs to “press their advantage, win this war, and secure a lasting peace.”
Zelenskyy Hails UK’s Unwavering Backing
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised Sunak’s commitment as “impenetrable” and ready to meet any challenge. He added that Britain’s new support will strengthen Ukraine’s forces on the battlefield and bolster their ongoing fight against Russian aggression.
