Chaos on the M3! Surrey Police and emergency crews rush to the scene
Frustrated drivers stuck in diversion mess
Surrey Police and emergency services are currently attending an incident on the M3 eastbound. Motorists are urged to avoid the main route and follow the lengthy ‘Solid Diamond’ diversion.
Follow the diversion – it’s a long haul!
- Exit the M3 at Junction 3.
- At J3 roundabout, take the first exit onto the A322 (Bracknell Road).
- Keep going until the slip road for the A30 towards London.
- Turn left onto the A30 and travel roughly 8 miles through Sunningdale and Egham.
- At the A30 Egham bypass roundabout, take the second exit continuing on the A30.
- Follow the A30 to the M25 Junction 13 interchange.
- Join the M25 anti-clockwise towards Junction 12.
- Exit at M25 J12 and rejoin the M3 at Junction 2.
Drivers are advised to plan for delays and consider alternate routes where possible.
