Tragedy in Bolton: Italian Woman Dies Suddenly at 45
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed the death of Gloria De Lazzari, a 45-year-old Italian national living in Bolton. Officers responded to a welfare check at Kempston Gardens on Monday, 19 January 2026. Despite CPR attempts, Gloria was pronounced dead at the scene.
Heartbroken Family Pays Tribute to ‘Devoted Daughter’
Gloria’s mother described her as a “fantastic person and a devoted daughter.” She cherished their time together in Italy, especially the long walks outdoors. “She was deeply family-oriented and always made an effort with me. She will be missed beyond words,” her mother said.
Her ex-husband also spoke warmly of Gloria’s kind nature:
“Gloria De Lazzari was a great lady with a pure soul and a gentle, compassionate heart… Her kindness, humility, and selflessness touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed.”
