West Midlands Police’s Road Crime Team caught a suspect driving a stolen car in Kingstanding. The vehicle had just been reported stolen in a burglary. The driver didn’t spot the cops until he came to a stop, and then things got hairy.

The suspect fought back hard, trying to break free in a violent tussle with officers. But the police were quick to react, wrestled him down, and hauled him into custody.

West Midlands Police confirmed the man remains in custody as they dig deeper into the burglary and car theft. They’re also working to get the stolen motor back to its rightful owner.
