Police are hunting witnesses after a terrifying aggravated burglary in Southampton.
Crossbow-Wielding Burglar Targets Man in Priory Road
At 4pm on the 19th, a hooded man carrying a crossbow forced his way into a house on Priory Road. The 27-year-old man who answered the door was threatened inside the property.
Escape and Chase
The victim managed to break free and run outside. He was tailed briefly by a black car containing two men while the intruder frantically searched the upstairs area.
Suspect Description and Appeal
- White male
- About 5ft 9ins tall
- Wearing a beanie hat, black coat with hood up
- Dark tracksuit bottoms
- Trainers with orange Nike ticks
The victim was left uninjured and nothing was stolen.
