Police Appeal following two burglaries at Argos in Titchfield

Officers from Hampshire Police are investigating two burglaries at the Argos store on Southampton Road in Titchfield which they believe may be linked. On both occasions someone has forced their way into the rear of the building in the middle of the night. Stock checks are being carried out, but it is believed that more than £1,000 of items have been taken. Investigating officer DC Sharon Lewry said: “Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the Southampton Road area of Titchfield between 2:00am and 3:30am on Monday, February 29. or shortly after midnight on Thursday, March 10? Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are reviewing CCTV, but as this area of Titchfield is quiet in the early hours of the morning I’m keen to hear from anyone that saw or heard anything unusual.
