Police Hunt Desperate Burglars Who Ripped Off £2,500 in Southampton Heist

Police are on the lookout after two brazen burglars stormed a Southampton home and snatched jewellery and cash worth £2,500.

Masked Men Force Way Into Southampton Home

Just after 1.30pm on Monday, February 14, two men pulled up in a car on Simon Way. When the 61-year-old homeowner opened her front door, they shoved past her and barged inside.

£2,500 Loot Taken in Quick Smash and Grab

Once inside, the thieves made off with around £500 in cash and wedding rings valued at £2,000. Police say the men seemed to know exactly what they were after.

  • Both men white, wearing black tops with hoods up
  • Faces covered to hide identities

“If you think you know who might be responsible, or spotted anything suspicious in the area, please get in touch,” urged PC Paul Rose from Southampton Police.
