Biker injured in collision in Ryde
Police and Paramedics this afternoon are dealing with an incident involving a car and motorbike. The remains of the motorbike are laying in the road after colliding with a Citreon car. The collision happened on Ashey Road with the junction Bettsworth Road just after 4pm this afternoon. Police are at the scene directing traffic past the incident. Part of Bettsworth Road is blocked with emergency service vehicles. Two people have been injured in the collision. A Scooter rider and the driver of the Citroen who are being treated by paramedics at the scene. A Single lane traffic control is currently in operation. Police have advised motorist to avoid the area while they deal with incident.
