Police investigate after newborn lambs killed in Kingsclere

Police are investigating a report of three newborn lambs being killed at a farm in Kingsclere Road, Kingsclere near Basingstoke. The lambs appear to have been shot sometime between midnight and 3pm on Friday, May 6. Countrywatch PC Stephen Rogerson said: “It appears the lambs were shot with an air weapon. “They were only a day old and out in a field. We are keen to identify the person or people responsible for this cruel and heartless offence. “Local officers are conducting reassurance patrols in the area and asking that any suspicious activity is reported to us.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting ref: 44160170278
