Late-Night Crash Flips Car Onto Its Side in Upham
Emergency crews raced to Church Street on the outskirts of Bishops Waltham tonight after a Skoda estate flipped onto its side and crashed into a garden fence.
Driver Hits Parked Car, Overturns
The crash, just before 10pm, involved a man in his late 50s who reportedly hit a parked car before his vehicle flipped over. Firefighters from Eastleigh and Bishops Waltham rushed to the scene to free the trapped driver.
Firefighters Rescue Driver
Crews released the man shortly after 10.40pm and secured him on a spinal board. He was then handed over to the South Central Ambulance Service. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road remains closed both ways while recovery and clean-up continue. A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “A car went into the back of a stationary vehicle and overturned.”
