Eight Men Busted in Major Crack and Heroin Drug Raids in Southampton and London

Eight men have been charged after nine drug warrants swept through Southampton and London yesterday as part of Operation Fortress. This Hampshire Constabulary crackdown targets drug crime and protects vulnerable communities from the harmful impact of illegal substances.

Four London Men and Four Southampton Men Arrested

Police executed six warrants in Southampton and three in London on May 24. The raids were a joint effort involving Hampshire Constabulary, the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Metropolitan Police Service.

The charged suspects are:

  • Faisal Kilas, 26, from Peabody Estate, London – conspiracy to supply crack and heroin, remanded in custody.
  • Mohamoud Ahmed, 20, Burlington Place, London – conspiracy to supply crack and heroin, remanded.
  • Kashim Abdul, 31, Freshwater Road, London – conspiracy to supply crack and heroin, remanded.
  • Tadzingwa Gambiza, 24, Bloomhill Road, London – conspiracy to supply crack and heroin, remanded.
  • Jason Thompson, 34, Howell Close, Southampton – supplying crack and heroin, remanded.
  • Thomas Hennessey, 31, no fixed address – supplying crack and heroin, remanded.
  • George Donnachie, 55, Jubilee 1, Southampton – supplying and possessing with intent to supply crack and heroin, remanded.
  • Mark Mansell, 42, Burgess Road, Southampton – charged with supply, due at Southampton Magistrates June 13.

All except Mansell will face Southampton Crown Court on June 24. One 31-year-old man from Southampton arrested for conspiracy to supply has been bailed until August 2 pending further enquiries.
