Crash Chaos on A36: Three Hurt in Head-On Smash Near West Wellow

Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty two-car crash on the A36 near West Wellow on Sunday night, August 7. Just before 8pm, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Kia collided head-on close to the Ower roundabout.

Three Injured, Including Woman in Serious Condition

The smash sent three people to Southampton General Hospital. The 19-year-old Vauxhall driver broke a leg. In the Kia, an elderly couple in their 80s were hurt — with the woman said to be in a serious condition.

A36 Blocked for Hours as Police Investigate

The crash has forced a lengthy closure of the A36, which is expected to last into the early hours. Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to come forward.
