Police appeal for Good Samaritans who helped Woman after Cycle Collision in Portsmouth

Did you help a woman who was in collision with a vehicle as she crossed London Road in Portsmouth? The 19-year-old was pushing her bike when the collision with a red car happened at the junction with Chichester Road. It happened at 4.45pm on October 3 and the red car failed to stop. The woman suffered bruising and her bike was damaged. We know that several members of the public went over to help her and we would like to speak to these people as they may have information which can help us trace the driver of the car. The driver of the car was a white man, with ginger hair and a long beard. Did you see the incident? Do you know the driver? Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Stewart Ainsley on 101, quoting 44160412510.
