Massive Blaze Erupts at New Grainger Development in Hampshire

Fire crews are battling a large open fire in Hampshire tonight after four fire appliances were rushed to the scene off Kentidge Way.

Blaze Breaks Out Just After 7.30pm

The alarm went off just after 7.30pm Tuesday evening. Flames broke out at the new Grainger housing development in the town, sending thick black smoke billowing across the skyline.

Heavy Response as Smoke Clouds Stretch Far and Wide

Hampshire Fire and Rescue deployed crews from Waterlooville, Havant, Cosham, and Portchester. A Landrover and water carrier from Fareham also arrived to help tackle the stubborn blaze.

Using two hose reels and a powerful jet, firefighters fought to bring the fire under control amid challenging conditions.

Cause Still a Mystery

What started the fire remains unclear. The blaze is believed to be near a Flexi Bridge between the new developments. Investigations are ongoing.
