Emergency services called to two vehicle serious Road Traffic Collision in Frimley Park, Surrey

Emergency services called to two vehicle serious Road Traffic Collision in Frimley Park this evening. Officers from Surrey Roads Policing, Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECA) and Fire crews from both Surrey and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service where called shortly after 10pm on Saturday evening (November 12th).

_psEmbed(“https:///uknip.photoshelter.com”); Roads Policing officers put in a hard road closure on Cobham Road near to the Frimley Services Station and The Mallards. The road was closed in both directions for nearly four hours for fire crews to free the trapped driver and for a recovery and clear up operation. The collision happened near to the junction of Bicknell Road and Cobham Road in Frimley Park. Fire Crews stationed at Rushmoor and Camberley attended and used specialist cutting equipment to carry out a roof removal of the blue Peugeot 107. The roof of the vehicle was removed to free one person who was trapped in the vehicle following a collision with a Silver Audi A4. Fire crews freed the driver and they where left in the care of Paramedics from the Ambulance service and have since been taken to near by Frimley Park Hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any dashcam footage around the time in that area is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 asking to speak to Police Sergeant Phil Rix from Surrey Roads Policing Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111. https:///www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG0rFQIDB8I&feature=youtu.be
