Portchester Charity Bags £5,000 from UK’s Biggest Pet Rescue Funder!

German Shepherd Rescue South Gets Major Boost

A Portchester-based animal charity, German Shepherd Rescue South, has landed a whopping £5,000 from the UK’s top pet rescue supporter, Support Adoption For Pets (SAFP). The cash will help cover costly vet bills and kennel fees, keeping tails wagging and paws safe.

Volunteers Fighting to Save German Shepherds

Run entirely by volunteers, the charity rescues and rehomes unwanted, abused, and stray German Shepherds across the UK. It relies heavily on generous donations like this one to keep its lifesaving work going.

SAFP Praises Hard Work and Dedication

Amy Wilson, fundraising manager at SAFP, said: “It is a real privilege to help an organisation that works so hard to care for and rehome German Shepherds in need. They are doing a superb job, and the effort the rescue puts in is an inspiration.”
