Exclusive Emergency services called Wilson Boat Yard Hayling Island

Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident at Wilson Boat Yard on Marine Walk on Hayling Island this evening. Seven Fire crews supported by Police Coastguard Mud Rescue Teams and Paramedics started arriving at the site just 6.15pm on Wednesday evening. The area is filled with emergency vehicles and is currenttly sealed off. Police have also sealed of the entrance to the yard. It is understood that one person has been rescued from the mud by Coastguard and the fire service after they became trapped in the mud. Coastguard Search and rescue teams Portsmouth and Selsey are also supportting the Hayling Island Coastguard Search and rescue team. The specialist water rescue unit stationed at Fareham has also been called to attend the incident. A second person remains on the boat the is currently also stuck in the mud
