Fire crews tackle fire at High Rise block in Portsmouth

Fire Crews from Southsea, Cosham, Portchester, Fareham and Havant jbw attended a fire at Barkis House, Portsmouth this afternoon. The fire was in the third floor external bin chute. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, one jet, one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation for smoke clearance. No one was injured during the incident. The fire was put out just after 3pm.
