Man Arrested and Bailed in Finsbury Park Murder Probe

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old stabbed to death in Finsbury Park. The suspect voluntarily attended a central London police station on 25 April and was bailed pending further inquiries until late May.

Tragic Stabbing in Roth Walk

The victim was found with multiple stab wounds in Roth Walk, N7, in the early hours of 21 April and was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as multiple incised wounds.

Weapon Charges and Court Appearance

Separately, a 21-year-old man was charged with possession of an offensive weapon on 22 April and appeared in court the very next day on 23 April.

Police Call for Witnesses

Formal identification of the victim will take place later this week. Police urge anyone with information to contact them quoting reference CAD1054/21APR. Call 101, tweet @MetCC, or report anonymously on 0800 555 111.
