Police appeal following serious collision in Paddington

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Paddington. Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 21:13hrs on Saturday, 28 April to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Lisson Grove junction with Marylebone Road, NW1. Officers attended. The pedestrian, a man believed to be aged in his thirties, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. No arrests have been made. Any witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Merton Traffic Garage on 0208 543 5157 or call 101 quoting CAD 7537/28April.
