Fire crews tackle barn fire in Romney Marsh Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called...
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a large barn fire on Dungeness Road, Lydd, Romney Marsh. Crews were faced with a large single storey timber barn, measuring 20metres x 20 metres, well alight. Using hose reel jets and main jets, crews soon surrounded the fire and extinguished it. The building suffered 90 percent severe fire damage. The cause isn’t known at this stage. There were no reported injuries.
