Man rushed to hospital after Whitechapel emergency sparks air ambulance response
Major emergency in Whitechapel
A man has been taken to a major trauma centre following a serious incident in Whitechapel. Emergency services, including London’s Air Ambulance, swarmed Adelina Grove just off Sidney Street around 1pm on Monday, March 10.
Scene sealed off with heavy police presence
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Adelina Grove was seen cordoned off, with a significant police presence in the area. Images shared on social media showed emergency crews at the scene, and residents reported the air ambulance landing nearby.
Official response yet to reveal details
“We were called today (Monday, March 10) at 1.04pm to reports of an incident in Adelina Grove, E1. We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre.” – London Ambulance Service spokesperson
Metropolitan Police have yet to release any statement on what happened or if an investigation is ongoing.
