Massive Barn Blaze Engulfs Romney Marsh
Kent Fire and Rescue raced to a massive barn fire on Dungeness Road, Lydd, Romney Marsh. The timber barn, a huge 20 by 20-metre single-storey shed, was well and truly alight.
Firefighters Battle Blazing Inferno
Using powerful hose reel and main jets, crews quickly surrounded and doused the flames. Despite their efforts, the building suffered severe damage to around 90 percent of its structure.
Cause Under Investigation but No Injuries Reported
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the blaze.
