Lorry Driver Dies After Shocking Crash Near Swanley
Tragedy struck near Swanley when a lorry driver in his 60s died following a crash on the M25 early on Thursday, 31 May. Kent Police were alerted around 7am after reports a vehicle had smashed into the central reservation near junction three, coming from the Dartford Crossing.
Deadly Crash on M25 and Roundabout Collision
The lorry left the motorway at junction three but didn’t stop there. It then crashed at the nearby roundabout linking the A20 and M20. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but sadly, the driver was pronounced dead on impact. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Possible Medical Episode Suspected
Police believe the driver may have suffered a medical episode before the crash. His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
