Pedestrian Killed in Horror A27 Crash at Tangmere
A man tragically died after being hit by a car on the A27 at Tangmere on Monday night (18 June). The victim was struck by a westbound Kia near the Tangmere roundabout at around 8pm and died at the scene.
Driver Hospitalised with Minor Injuries
The Kia’s driver, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to hospital but suffered only minor injuries. Meanwhile, authorities shut the westbound A27 from Tangmere roundabout as emergency services dealt with the scene.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Sergeant Neil Cox appealed for anyone who saw the collision to get in touch. “If anyone has information, please contact us,” he said.
Witnesses are urged to report online or call 101, quoting Operation Tatton.
