Police issue E fit after Greenhithe attempted robbery

Kent Detectives investigating an attempted robbery report in Greenhithe have released a computer-generated image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries. The incident took place at around 8.45pm on Tuesday 24 July and saw a woman approached by a man as she walked in Steele Avenue. This man then attempted to steal her handbag but was unsuccessful. Following enquiries, officers are now in a position to issue an image of a man who may have important information on what happened. Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to call Kent Police on 01474 366149 quoting XY/045954/18. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555 111.
