Detectives appeal for witnesses to stabbing in Staines
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in Staines. Just before 1am this morning (25 August) officers were called to reports of a large-scale fight in the middle of The Causeway. Upon arrival we discovered one man had suffered a stab wound. South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the scene and took him to hospital. The victim is still in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries. No arrests have been made at this stage. DC Anna Moffatt said: “We believe the incident took place after a house party on The Causeway and have already spoken to a number of individuals during our enquiries. “We also believe there were a number of people driving through the area at the time of the incident and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything to contact us immediately.
